日本語と英語の両方を使います演習 Seminar
英語を出す練習をする授業です。
This course develops your ability to express yourself in English.
スピーチの基礎を使いながら、プレゼンテーションの練習をします。声、説明の構成、写真や図の使い方、質問への返し方。ペアや少人数で試し、相手に伝わる説明をつくります。教室の前に立って全員に発表する形式は前提にしません。
担当教員は、先生というより学習コーチだと思ってください。スポーツの練習と同じで、各回に練習メニューがあります。
The main focus is speaking, with writing practice to support it. You will use English in every class. Think of the instructor as a coach who provides a set of practice activities each week.
登録する前に、これだけは
- 毎回、英語で話す時間が必ずあります。ペアとグループです
- 授業の外で、AI学習アプリを使った音読と発音の練習を続けます。目安は1日10分から15分
- 授業内でも課題があります（配点25％）
- 成績の30％は、授業外の学習記録です（アプリの利用状況を含みます）
迷っている人は、まず第1回に出てから決めてください。
Before registering, please note that every class includes speaking activities in pairs and groups. You will also practice reading aloud and pronunciation outside class using the app, for about 10–15 minutes a day. Work outside class, including your practice record, accounts for 30% of your grade. If you are unsure whether to enroll, attend the first class before deciding.
この授業が終わるころにはWhat You Will Be Able to Do
できるようになることを、CEFR という枠組みで書いています。この授業の想定レベル帯は A2 から B1 です。左の列がCEFRの区分、▸ の行が「どこでやるか」です。
左の列の語は、こういう意味です。受容＝読む・聞くで受け取る。産出＝話す・書くで自分から出す。やりとり＝相手と交互にやる。仲介＝受け取ったものを、別の人に渡し直す。言語資源＝語彙や発音など、使う道具。自律＝自分で練習を組み立てる。くわしくは CEFRという物差し にあります。
The course goals are based on the CEFR. The left column identifies the type of language activity, and the ▸ line shows where you will practice it in this course.
各授業では、これらを授業内外の課題や、学習・訓練のアクティビティでできるようにしていきます。評価は、目に見える形のものを通して数値化します。
You will develop these skills through class activities and independent study. Assessment is based on demonstrated performance.

繰り返し使う練習Regular practice activities
以下は繰り返し使う練習です。その回の目的とクラスの様子に合わせて、組み合わせと量を変えます。
- チャンクで区切って音読する。モデル音声を真似て、録音する
- 音の変化を確認する
- 相槌を打って、質問を返す
- 相手の話のキーワードをメモして、あとで聞く
- 自己紹介を、少しずつ伸ばしていく
やり方は 英語の音／文の切り方／自己紹介と、会話の続け方 にあります。最初の数回で扱ったあと、何度でも見返してください。
Regular activities include reading in meaningful chunks, imitating model recordings, identifying changes in connected speech, responding and asking follow-up questions, remembering key points from a partner’s comments, and gradually developing your self-introduction. The combination and amount of practice will vary according to the class. The pages on English sounds, chunking, and introductions explain these activities.

この授業は、下から順に上がります。自己紹介から始めて、雑談ができるようにして、そこから話題を上げていきます。
そのうえで、この授業ではスピーチと書くことを足します。人前で話す、質問を受けて答える、書いたものを読んでもらう。相手に届いて、返ってくるところまでが1セットです。
We begin with self-introductions and casual conversation, then move to more demanding topics. Speech and writing activities build on this foundation.

受信できなければ、意味のある発信はできない
TED Talk、ニュース映像、ポッドキャスト、音楽、記事。いろいろな素材を使います。聞いたものや読んだものを分解して、自分の発信に回す方法を練習します。
Speaking and writing depend on what you have listened to and read. We will use TED Talks, news videos, podcasts, music, and articles to study how English is used and apply what we learn in our own communication.

初めての人は、第1回の授業で登録の方法を説明します。
Log in to the learning platform. If you have not registered yet, registration is explained in the first session.
担当教員が作ったAI英語学習アプリを使います。授業の外で音読や発音の練習をすると、その場で自動でフィードバックが返ります。自分の進み具合は、いつでも自分の画面で見られます。
You will use an AI English learning app developed by the instructor. It provides immediate automated feedback on your practice outside class. You can view your own practice records and progress at any time.

変化を確かめるCheck your progress
授業外では音読や発音などを練習し、教室では相手への説明や質問への対応を試します。課題の内容と提出方法は授業で案内します。
Outside class, practise reading aloud and pronunciation. In class, practise explaining to a listener and responding to questions. Assignment and submission details will be explained in class.
登録の方法は第1回の授業で説明します。事前の準備は要りません。
Registration is explained in the first session. Nothing to set up in advance.

この授業が目指すことWhat You Should Be Able to Do
- 必要なときに、読める、書ける、聞ける、話せる。実際の場面で使える英語Read, write, listen, and speak in situations where you need English.
- 英文を見るだけで嫌になる状態から、少しずつ抜け出すFeel more comfortable reading English.
- 通じなかったときに、言い換える、聞き返す。会話を続ける力Rephrase when you are misunderstood and ask for clarification when needed.
- 自分の英語力を自分で把握できるようになるAssess your own English proficiency.
無理に英語を好きになる必要はありません。ただ、使える状態までは持っていきます。
You do not have to like English. The aim is to develop the ability to use it when needed.

- ノートパソコンかタブレット。毎回必要ですA laptop or tablet, every session. A smartphone alone is not enough.
- イヤホンEarphones.
